着物 KIMONO ☆⌒

セミ？スイカ？花火？キャンプ？
　　　　　
ひまわり？プール？といろいろ考えると思いますが
　　　　　　　　
今日は「着物（浴衣）」を英語で紹介します
　　　　　　　　　

　   　　　　　　
Kimono : traditional Japanese wear
         
Today, Kimonos are not worn asa everday attire but are worn mostly on auspicious days such as the New Year, Coming of Age Ceremony, and other ceremonial functions. One puts on the undergarment lips, called nagajubsn, over underwear, ties a cord(koshihimo) around the waist, and then wears outer kimono clothing secured with a wide belt called obi. On formal occasions, as ceremonial dress, an unmarried woman wears a style of kimono called furisode, which has floor-length sleeves, and a married normally wears a tomesode. Men, whether married pr unmarried, wear hakama, and haori to be more formal. As a casual kimono, there is yukata often worn at summer festivals and foreworks festivals.
             
今は着物を日常着としてではなく、主に正月や成人式、冠婚葬祭など晴れの日に着る人が多くなっています。肌着の上に長襦袢をまとい、腰ひもで止め、上着を着て帯で締めます。礼服の場合、未婚の女性は袖の長い振袖を、既婚の女性は留袖を着ます。男性は既婚、未婚問わず袴、より正式には香織を着ます。普段着としては、夏祭りや花火大会などで見られる浴衣があります。
